Direct Admin is a very simple and light-weight Web Control Panel which has smaller memory footprint on the web server than other panels. The main disadvantage of this panel is its UI. The UI was not so friendly to the users as well as the administrator because the links are not properly categorized and not visible because of the lack of icons.
SimpliSpace which uses Direct Admin as its control panel, wanted a redesign of Direct Admin UI. Our Infrastructure Manager, Gayan, who is the owner of SimpliSpace came up with the idea and now it is complete and running perfectly on SimpliSpace.
